Sad Days...

My husbands very close friend of 5 years just passed away on Christmas Eve. Today was the funeral. His health has been deteriorating for some time now, but now that he is gone everything is just so final. The funeral was so beautiful. The crowd was amazing. 256 people jammed out his church. That is as big as a wedding. He was so loved. What an inspiration of a wonderful person he was. Full of integrity, honesty, kindness, mercy...all amazing qualities he was full of. He was a light that blessed so many. It is sad to know and see my husband hurting and to see him lose one of a few of his true friends. For some reason once they got to know eachother they just clicked. The had such a deep bond and love for one another. How sad that his family and all of us have to suffer this loss. The good thing to know is he is no more pain, no more suffering. Bless you Dave. We love you. We will see you again.
